Slugs are squished on sight around here.

They do too much damage in the vegetable garden.

Nice photo though... unusual perspective.

Thank you, Francois. Few people like slugs, myself included. My wife hates them, for the same reasons stated above: they eat her plants. They certainly can't be called cuddly, or even appealing, appearance-wise. Alright, they are downright ugly. But like most critters, they are doing what they must to survive and persist, as they have for eons. Oblivious to and unconcerned about whatever effects they may have on other organisms, least of all us. Still, every once in a while it seems reasonable to take a glance at the world from their perspective. The view is different from down there.

FWIW, I don't hate slugs but I can understand people with gardens…  :D
