Title: Early Season Milky Way
Post by: Chris Calohan on March 04, 2022, 02:48:11 pm

First shot is a 5-Frame Pano and the second a single frame. The biggest difference is on the pano, Venus sits just above the horizon and in the single frame, significantly above.

Nice shots both. Looks like you caught a satellite or plane on the single, just above the cloud bank in the middle and maybe a meteor over to the right !

Was the exposure the same on each ?
Or any stacking ?
The single shot looks to have rounder stars than the pano.

I thought I got them all...oops! This is a major airline corridor and getting an exposure without an aircraft is dicey, at best.
