Hi
I have tried to load a roll of new paper in my z3100 and it isnt being detected. Keeps telling me to load in the paper and doing so doesnt do anything.
I have tried powering off and on again, still no joy.
I have tried different paper rolls and same thing. I hope I havent bust a sensor or something.
anyone experienced this before?

actually I cant load sheet paper either. ugh. I guess its a paper sensor failure then.

i had the same problem last week with my Z3200. the paper i was previously using without difficulty would not load, and then when i eventually loaded it it would not feed. It was 350 weight paper. I've since loaded crane museo rag with no problem. Never figured out the problem, wish i could be more help

Could be you have a bad OOPS (out of paper sensor).
You can get one here: OOPS (https://www.lpscomputer.com/products/out-of-paper-sensor-oops-for-t-z-printers-q5669-67068-q5669-67801-q5669-60676)
Get the repair manual - it’s not difficult to replace.

Thanks Mark
Just to close this off, it was indeed the out of paper sensor.
It took a month to arrive (damn USPS) but my printer is up and running again. yay.
think I might order another one just incase, so I dont have to wait next time lol
