There are booms and there's the Matthews Max line.

This Mini Max is in excellent shape with only minor signs of use. Works perfectly, no missing components and EXCEPTIONALLY versatile.
Tuck it in a corner or doorway and reach into a room, put it partially up a staircase, etc. Or can put on landing/roof and have point downward. Sucker is exceptionally flexible.
Very small footprint, but VERY stable and perfect if you're tired of tripping over boom stand legs and/or work in tight spaces. Can also be used as normal stand by simply aiming boom upward.
