The last Clematis bloom hit by our first hard frost. Joy in what was, sadness in what is, hope for what will be. Thank you for viewing my photo. I look forward to your thoughts and comments.

Well I erased my earlier comments because obviously I must have been half asleep. Now I agree with Eric. The purple hues and the browns really add to the feeling of sadness.
