8 seconds...but I cheated.. with a stablized lens.

You probably breathed at least once during those eight seconds. The horizontal white streaks give you away.   ;)

Good shooting. Much better than I could do. Without a tripod (which I never carry any more,) i would ten d to find a tree or a telephone pole to lean against while shooting any time exposure.

the camera weighs in at right around 1.8 pouns..and the lens i used at 24.5 oz ..

twenty years ago....."i coulda stood there all night"

Canadian astronaut CMDR Chris Hadfield spoke of hand-holding a 400 mm lens for 4 seconds, back-panning to dial out orbital motion.
Of course his Nikon outfit was weightless, but still...
