I like the left half as a vertical, but the right half is confusing and irrelevant, IMHO. So for this shot, I would definitely ***"CROP"*** it to just the left half.
Sorry, Russ. (But that left half is excellent.)

Fair enough, Eric, but I think the context established by the right half is important.

At the least, I would tone down (darken) the shirt on the guy at the far right. Its brightness makes it look as if it is the main subject, which it isn't.

Hi Eric. In the end, I think it's better if it goes back to this. I was grabbed by the color, but in the end it's the graphics that make the picture. It's on my own web this way, and I was right the first time. Thanks. The criticism pointed me in the right direction.

Yes!
You've got it. I didn't think of that, but it works.

Actually this B&W version was published somewhere in LuLa but I couldn't find it.
I agree that it works much better

Spot-on. The first one wasn't a hit for me but Eric found out the "issue". This one, in B&W, is much improved. I like it a lot.

I don't know why I went back to the color original. I always used to check the B&W version for anything that had satisfactory graphics. After all, I shot in B&W for decades before I bought a digital camera. In any case, thanks to both of you guys for your comments. Maybe next time I won't make the same mistake.

When I got my first digital camera, I converted everything to B&W for a long time before I got the courage up to try color. Darkroom habits are indeed hard to overcome.
