Title: Dragonfly
Post by: Chairman Bill on July 15, 2021, 03:46:09 am
No fog, no trees, not in black & white, not even a landscape ... just a female Southern Hawker that had recently emerged from my pond and was still hardening its wings. So far, that little pond has produced 8 of these this year.

Yes, lovely. Looks like you took the shot in or shortly after a rain? I have yet to get a good dragonfly image!

Nicely done. The wings have almost a gossamer quality to them.

They weren't yet hardened enough for flight. A little later they started to move a little. I checked back half an hour later and she had flown.
