Another image processed in 32-bit HDR.
Taken from my veranda.

Great shot...However, and you know there is a however coming.
I find that image has too much info (values) for a strong graphic image. Also, it starts looking a little like an infared image.
Just my personal likes expressed, as I stated at first, a great shot.

I see what you are saying - thanks!

Great shot but I have been musing about why I am uncomfortable about the building. I now realise the trees have deep shade on their left side but the building has little difference in tone. That makes it look somewhat unreal to me.
Best wishes,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, thanks for the feedback...although I must admit that I am not quite sure what you mean. :)

Hello William. Given the shade on the trees I would have expected the left side of the Church tower to be darker than it is like the small tower at the back.
Maybe me being fussy!
Best wishes, Jonathan

The left side of the church tower lit by light reflected off of roof?

I think you are right David, here is the unedited raw. (Check the time of day on the clock to work out more or less where the sun is ~ top rightish.)
-
the unedited raw does not show the same level of lumanence blooming that the posted jpg does.
i think it may be part of the "look" that is giving an IR look to the image.

The RAW does not lie! Glad there is an explanation.
