Title: Banded water snake

Taken near the Bodie Island Lighthouse on the North Carolina Outer Banks. There were several of these snakes swimming around here, they are fascinating creatures.

Very nice shot.
I sure hope they aren't poisonous. Bu that is a fine portrait of one.

The glittering and wavy water helps make this into really fine shot!

Not poisonous. I agree that the patterns in the water really add to the shot. Thanks all.
