I use two sigma Art lenses and indeed they are very good...
But i am sorry to say that Dan Well's logic seems to be off a bit, now and then.

He shows a panorama of a sea scape with the text :

first of all: a panorama is made by calculating and eliminating the lens distortion- so if there is any it shoud be gone.
second : i see a clear S-shaped horizon. So, a bad example in any respect. Also showing his panorama skills are not top notch.
 ( moving waves make it impossible to do a perfect stich anyway)

Nice article (even if it sounds a bit like an echo of press releases sometimes), and nice water ski resort indeed! ;)
I only own a DG DN 16/1.4 but can attest of the quality and homogeneity on a MFT camera.

What about autofocus speed and accuracy. Any time I had been searching for a new lens I've read online reviews for Tamron/Sigma and the reviews indicate that is their weakness compared to native canon lenses.....but it's been at least 8  years since I've bought a new lens, perhaps Sigma has improved.
