These images really are enchanting — and I’m especially intrigued by the composition with three turquoise stripes on the lower right, and what looks a bit like an advancing storm front across the top. Is there anyplace where Madeleine Lenagh reveals the story behind each image? I’d love to know.

Arthur, I hope Madeleine replies. Her work is intriguing and shows what you can do when you free your mind to really see and explore. Not always easy in our busy day to day lives. Love the work.

I got in touch with her on Instagram, and she explained the image was a photo of one of her velour seat cushions! This is a fun and beautiful project.
