Hi! Has anyone else with a D1x noticed the aging issues i have. The meter seems to have become quite unreliable, and the autofocus motor feels... laggy for lack of a better word.
I've had the beast for about 5 yeasr and have put it thru the wringer use wise.
Just curious if anybody else has noticed such?

No such experience with the D1x, but I feel that an in depth health check by the manufacturer every 100.000 frames or so is a reasonnable approach when using a camera intensily.
Have you considered sending it back to Nikon?
