Title: Momma Said There Would Be Days Like This
Post by: Chris Calohan on September 16, 2020, 02:32:07 pm: My lake after 15" of rain in a 24hr period...lower dock is completely underwater....toss a prayer or two over to the folks in Pensacola who have gotten 3 feet of water in the same time frame.

We lived there for a while after I returned from Korea and was going through intercept control school and doing some flying out of Tyndall. Here are the beach and my oldest son in early 1954. He was getting his first taste of salt water. Later on he was a Seal. When he got out of the navy he went to work as a diver in the North Sea. Later on he got into software engineering in a big and very successful way and recently retired.

In '54 he already had that "I can do anything I put my mind to" look that I associate with the Seals.
