Most IR work I am not a big fan of.  Yours will change my mind...

Thanks...there is a lot that can be done with IR if treated correctly. I'm still working my way around doing IR with a filter and not a converted camera.

If you getting this kind of results from just a filter, do you even need a dedicated camera...

I bought one long time ago, hardly used for a couple of shots, wasn't much inspired - most likely I just didn't know how to get the best out of it.  I no longer have the lens that went with it.  Most of my lenses are bigger diameter so the filter is of no use.  If I wanted to get back into it, I will have to buy a new one.  Which make do you have?

May be the trick is to make simple compositions.  I think those grand landscapes look kind of confusing to me and little too fantastical for my taste.  I am currently working on honing my skills at making cyanotypes and a image like this will be perfect for it.  You are giving me some ideas!

Is that R72 or N72?  I only see R.  It's the same one I have in a smaller size.
