Title: Lost in the Woods

It's gonna be a bear to print, but I love the subtle tonalities in this image.  I almost exclusively use rough, matte papers (think German Etching or William Turner), but I'm wondering if those papers have enough dmax to capture all the shadow detail.

Fantastic image! Bravo!

Piezography could handle that fine on matte papers. K3? Not sure...

Yep - I think you're right.  Unfortunately I'm loaded up with Canon printers.

Great image, really. I also love the dark and some slightly silver tones and nuances. There's some similarities with Damascus steel…

That's a very powerful image.
I would try several papers, matte and glossy, and variant treatments on each until you find the sweet spot.
It's worth lots of effort!

simple and strong.
Would be very nice on old nostalgic Baryte - selenium toned.

when you do get it to print well, it will make the puzzle from hell  ;)
