Title: Problem adjusting AF micro adjustment Sony A7RIV
Post by: marcmccalmont on July 28, 2020, 12:55:02 pm
I started to set the af micro adjustment on my A7RIV with Sony FE lenses
I get an error message "invalid with this lens" with all my Sony FE lenses....frustrating
Does any one have a solution?
Thanks
Marc

Mirrorless lenses don't need microadjustment - the AF sensor is on the sensor itself, so there is never any misalignment.

The microadjustment option is for SLR lenses being used via the LA-EA2 or LA-EA4 adapters, which contain a translucent mirror and basically turn the camera into an SLR.
