a few more and in the last image, I am pushing the Macro-Symmar SR 5.6/80 0023 fixed aperture lens way past its design standard of 1.2x mag, I was surprised that 3.75x mag came out so well

nice feature of focus stacking is to take images with the lens wide open and based on the number of images used, adjust the DoF.
