Russ,

Nice capture of the grass stems and heads.
What is going on with the background ? Compression artifacts  ?
i only see that effect with some of my old f/2 Olympus lenses with a busy background and a little wind.

Hi Frank, Thanks. I was quite close to the grasses with a Pen-F and 12-60 mm lens zoomed to 60 mm (120 mm equivalent for a full-frame sensor). The background -- across the little river -- simply is out of focus, as I intended it to be. The bokeh could have been better.
