It's a grand cityscape, Ivo, but why is the center out of focus?

Because it is a citywarp.

Rob was on top of one of those buildings and about to grab some dame's ass.

Because it is a citywarp.

Well, that makes it okay then.  :o

It is shot through the curved glass of the facade. I like the effect. I wouldn’t take the shot if it was not a bit twisted.

That sounds very like character - and ass - assassination!

I wish. No, not really, it's like I said about the watch: after a diamond, a rhinestone just won't do.

After several evenings of watching several back-to-back Jay Leno's Garage shows, I am coming to the conclusion that I may be drifting away from my '59 Coupe de Ville obsession towards some other machines. I still love the back half (nothing to do with grabbing) but the previous year's front looked a lot better. The '59 one just looks too heavy and double-layered.

I was in at my local Ford dealer today, chatting to the paint and panels guy, and he showed me a couple of big blow-ups that a happy owner of a Shelby Mustang had given him: the car had been painted by this lad after it had been imported from the US, and had then taken part in one of the regular classics rallies the island hosts. The work on the Mustang looked a lot better than had been done for my old Rusty, the Escort XRi. Oh well, I suppose I wasn't charged the same either!

I remember seeing that Mustang in various stages of repair - these body guys must have a helluva lot of confidence in their own abilities.

Rob, just to be clear, it was a response to your 'face blurring' to protect the innocent.

Just goes to show you how deeply I regard my old snaps: it went right over my head!
