Title: another short odd film about street photography
Post by: Robert Roaldi on January 23, 2020, 08:23:13 am
Two minute narrative film short about stealthy "street photography", https://vimeo.com/130676436 (https://vimeo.com/130676436). Perfectly safe content for everyone, but maybe a little weird.

Whatever.

By the way, if you plan to be "stealthy" in your street photography you aren't going to get much. What you need to be is "ignored." That requires a state of mind, proper dress, and smooth movements -- as opposed to rapid changes in stance. You can't really be invisible but you can become part of the background that people ignore.

That, Russ, is good advice.

Now, if only I could get that to work when we are the only white faces in town.

I got a good laugh watching the one titled "Dress Code."

Dare I suggest it: brown face?

If that fails, go back to the good olde days and just do it as of imperial right. Everybody will understand and think nothing of it.
