Title: C1 v20 with eGPU?

just got the digital transitions newsletter with the "mac purchase guide" which stresses the importance of GPU when using C1....
was wondering if anyone has experience with eGPU, specifically macbook pro and the blackmagic pro (I am aware of the price and non upgradability, but it seems to fit my requirements the best)....

Yep works great!

Personally, I would go for the Razer enclosure and a compatible card of your choice.

does C1 in 10.5.2 require an external monitor with the egpu?
