Yes! That's the kind of detail shot that says so much more on so many different levels; proof of that, in the chorus girls analogy.

You can't often get the mind to travel into itself when looking at a broader scene. I think I mentioned somewhere here that I figured the wide-angle lens did few favours for landscape photography. Sure, a lot for "wish you were here" productions, but that's something else.
