Pensive or just tired?
It's a very nice shot. Well seen!

Some very nice aspects to this image, not sure if the pair of bright blue H20 tanks sitting right at edge of frame are helping focus

Nice image.
I might be tempted to tone down that blue tank.

The blue tank is just fine. It was there. It's in the picture. It's part of the picture. So it's blue. So what?

Thanks! Yes but even when I was framing the photo, I kind of liked the blue with its texture against his bright red shirt.

Thanks! In these series of images from Cuba, I am trying to stay away a bit from using too much Photoshop in terms of changing the image. I usually do play a lot with colors and textures but Cuba has so much visual appealing to me that I am leaving the images alone.

Thank you! I do struggle a bit in terms of cropping or changing some images the way they were. I liked this one with all the elements in it.

Heysoos, as they might whisper in Cuba: all that concern about blue tanks, and nobody realises why the poor guy is physically exhausted: lookit dem knickers for heaven's sake!
That is the photo, no ambiguity need apply!

David, we are fewer by the day.
Now, some things are turning back to being as they were in the fifties: unmentionables.
Also today, as I happened to be down at that end of town looking for a place in which to find a cheap, plain white T-shirt - hard to do these days - I found myself, for the first time in several years, actually walking along the front of the town beside the beach. It was mobbed, and there were three topless ladies in sight. In the eighties, the numbers would have been the other way around.
I took comfort in the happy thought that, come November, the town will be inhabited by ghosts, more sand will be blown up onto the path than is left by the sea. At last something perhaps worth raising the camera to regard and to catch. Perhaps even time to renew my on/off love affair with my frozen friends in the shop window; I wonder what they will be wearing this winter?
Regarding the white T-shirt: Marlon Brando looked all right in his in Streetcar named Desire, so why not I?

If you time it just right, Rob, you might catch a couple of topless frozen ladies ;) Exotic popsicles!
You can get all the white T-shirts you want mail order, delivered right to your door!

Thank you Andres; I lead a strange sort of spiritual existence between nothing and almost nothing. Thus, the tiny space between becomes filled with little things that make the difference for me. Others, who shared such an experiences long ago, took to singing psalms and drawing maps. I can't sing anything.
Ché vamos hacer?

Almost two weeks ago I tried to buy something for the car (on Amazon - value less than nineteen pounds sterling) and the card was refused.
I wrote to them straight away - no point trying to 'phone them because it would cost more hanging on waiting for a human than the stalled purchase is worth - and I await a reply. Probably a security check or something, but just imagine if it was about something serious - a sick family member I had to fly see, or something else urgent and I couldn't use the damned card. My daughter has been similarly inconvenienced in the past.

Over here we have a president who likes to draw weather maps, but he tweets rather than singing psalms. ;)
