You really got him, Jeremy. Good shot.

Hi Jeremy,

Good catch. I don't see it as 'a stare' from the fox, but the fur does draw our eyes in to his/her eyes. It's more a stare from us.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Bart

Good capture.

You might want to remove that rock though.

I like it as is...with rock. without the rock it floats.

This I really like. Unusual which makes it all the better.

Just as I tried to tell a client: no need to fly to friggin' Africa to see a cat!

We still had to fly, but that's another story of two aborted take-offs at Heathrow.

But a fox is a totally different beast. After all, they are sly...

So are hyaenas, and they are sly enough to work in gangs!

As for foxes, they are everywhere, so why travel?

True, but why not where you are at the time...

Thanks for the comments. Although I see them frequently in my garden, I travelled an awfully long way to see this particular animal: it's a yezo red fox, native to Hokkaido. Those in Manchester seldom look as well-fed and healthy.

He's beautiful!  I don't see him as staring at all.  Just a curious, engaged look out at us.  Well worth the travels, Jeremy.

Foxes are magical. As a long-time cat lover and a never-had-a-dog person, I'd love to have a fox as a pet.

In a home setting . It would be sorta like a dog on crack.;~)
