Title: Possible ColorSync discontinuity bug introduced in OS

"Possible ColorSync discontinuity bug introduced in OS" is a thread on the Colorsync list and the OS is 10.14.6.

As a Windows user I am not going to read it and try to rephrase it here but with another Mac color related thread just starting here I thought it wise to mention it. Enough members here that can explain what is going wrong with 10.14.6.

It’s a known bug. Apple is aware of it. This does not affect Adobe applications and other applications that are properly written.

I haven't upgraded from 10.14.5 yet.  If Apple knows about the problem have they indicated that they will do something about it?  In the meantime is it better to remain on 10.14.5?
