Title: The East Lyn river
Post by: Chairman Bill on June 27, 2019, 08:12:21 am: The East Lyn runs off Exmoor and is joined by the Hoar Oak Water at Watersmeet, then proceeds to the sea at Lynmouth. For the last few miles, it runs through a deep-cut gorge, filled with waterfalls and cascades, many of which are impossible to get near without a helicopter winch or some serious climbing kit and waders. Fortunately, there are some easier-to-reach spots.
