At a nearby river, a close-up of the long-disused and very old contraptions that were used to raise and lower the sluice gates.

Peter, I think you should redo this when shadows are present. This subject needs some modelling light to bring out its features.

Agreed. I think it has potential, and it might work as it is if you do a b&w conversion, but the light was very dull.

I disagree. I love this kind of gentle (not dull) light that shows every detail and gives you saturated colors. Harsh shadows have their place, but IMO not here. Thanks for comments.
