This film is a wonderful depiction of what the photographer is encompassed with before and after the "shot" is taken. Artfully it allows the viewer the realization of how we landscape photographers go about with our perspective of the scene.
For me, it was a well worth reminder of my own personal study into the contemplation of the definitive moment of capture and reflection into ones intimate workflow and how it materializes while out in the field.
It brings up somewhat of a retrospective of the essay I wrote on this site last June. I think Josh and many other forum members would appreciate the film.

Just looked this up. This is a film I would like to see, having seen so much artistry in just a of few snippets on Youtube.

Unfortunately, you cannot see the whole film on YouTube but you can see some excerpts. It seems the filmmaker brings ordinary scenes to life in a poetic way. By really looking at the at world that we pass by every day. His work has an eerie and haunting quality. It's like watching the world pass by in such an intimate way.

Never heard if him before, which seems fair, since I'm sure he never heard of me, either. Ah, the perfect equilibrium of nature!
Speaking of which, that bird in the sea/storm/railings sequence must have hung around an art school: perfect understanding about the rule of thirds.
