Title: lit tree

I like the b&w, which is what I had in mind when I took it, but I nevertheless find myself strangely attracted to the spooky colours. Thoughts?

I like the first, but I would still tone down the brightness on the thick bottom part of the trunk. It takes too much attention away from the the other parts of the tree. The eye needs a more natural flow.

I think John's point is a good one. It's worth toning down the trunk a bit.
