I invite others to contribute photographs that can be thought (perhaps by some twisted minds) to hint at something to do with Politics (politely, of course, within the bounds permitted by our Iron-Fisted Moderator.)

To start the ball rolling, here are some images of trees behaving badly.
First, a snap of a tree doing what in the U.S.A. might be termed "doing a Biden" (i.e., invading another's personal space).

Nothing to do with politics, but if the thread has quickly morphed to interesting trees showing the passage of time and shot with 4x5 b&w then.........

I have a few interactions (mostly peaceful) between rocks and trees. I'll have to see if any fit this thread well enough.

I found this strange pair on a small meadow by the side of the Blue Ridge Parkway and wondered if the rock is still rising from the ground or if the tree is pulling it up as it grows.
There was a lot of green moss on both, the rock and the tree, so both were dressed up in the same matching attire.
