Title: The bluebird of happiness?

Talk about a fortuitous shot! I would have been happy just getting the bird in flight - I did not notice the shadow until processing. Sony RX-10iii, 1/8000 sec, f/4.0, iso 1600.

It's a great shot, Peter. As HCB said, "It's always luck. You just have to be receptive." It's a real winner.

Agreed, it's superb. Now just think how much time you would have spent if you had been trying to get that image.

Great shot!

I saw my first bluebirds of the season the other day, but I didn't even try to photograph them.
I didn't have my Sony RX10-III with me, and i'm not sure where to find the "Bluebird of Happiness" button anyway!
