Title: Road less travelled

A mysterious looking road less travelled. My favourite kind of driving - exploring country roads.

Hi John,

I respond very strongly to this in a very positive way. I live and work on this kind of road and drive them daily, in search of source material for my paintings... I know these well.

It's the kind of road I find very welcoming.

All the signs seem to be pleading: "Please, please, PLEASE travel my road!!!"

Funny thing about it is that though landscape in one sense, it surpasses that and becomes something more potent. Guess it's the strong graphics in the arrows. And, of course of the hand of man beyond.

Thanks Rob and Robert. And no traffic for miles. Sometimes harsh sunny days can make good images when all the elements come together.

Mine, too. I do a lot of it, but I'm usually looking off the road for subjects, rather than the road itself. Very well done, John.

Thanks Arlen. These days, I have to go a long way to find interesting country landscapes that are not overly developed. Sometimes a mix of the old new will present itself and that can be exciting.
