I was skiing into a backcountry ski hut and stopped at the top of the wind blown ridge. And yes, this is Yosemite!
-
A fine catch.
I'm glad you didn't get blown off the ridge. It looks fierce and cold.
-
Nice structure in the trees.
-
As Eric said, fierce and cold. How high is this location?

Thanks for your comments. I know my wife was getting chilled waiting for me. Horizon Ridge is just over 8000 ft. (sorry for not converting to meters) and follows a trail the Ostrander Lake where there is a ski hut. Of course this has been an exceptional winter and the powder was phenomenal for the Sierra.
