I'm pretty sure Ivo would push us even further; fortunately, both for my pocket and my heart, I live a pretty isolated life - monk-like, one could say.

This image reminds me of a Freeman Patterson image that I saw years ago but that still resonates with me today. He had a fence and a man at the extreme corner of the image juxtaposed against the rest of the sky. This image is on the border of whether the lamps hold enough attention vs. the weight of the almost empty space. The tension is good, but I think the bird is a distraction.
