Title: Long Billed Curlew

Fine shot, Mark. Someone here once remarked that no one buys a picture of the back end of an animal, but this is a nice environmental image.

Scott, I just like the "architecture" of the bird.

I like the “south-west” perspective. It not only shows of the fascinating plumage patterns, but gives an air that the curlew is calmly oblivious to both the breaking wave and the viewer.
