Both nice. The second has obvious appeal.
The first has very nice balance and tonalities. I don't recall seeing any B&W from you before. This is well done.

That black silo! Black so rich, almost succulent, yet preserving tons of details, and, more importantly, enough shading to retain the sense of roundness.

And I thought that, for the Europeans, it would bring tears to their eyes. Having seen the price of gasoline, that is - 0.54 Euros per liter! Apparently, in Paris, those European eyes are now feasting on a different type of gas, for the price of gas ;) :'( ;D

My thoughts exactly. I strive for tonality like that in my B&W conversions but seldom manage it.

The lower image brings tears to my eyes also. We pay almost double that for unleaded down here at present.
