Post by: Jeremy Roussak on October 20, 2018, 01:26:53 pm: I've posted a couple of longish-exposure shots of this majestic fall before, but on reflection I wonder if this one doesn't better convey the sheer force of the water.

Thoughts?

It brings back memories of June 1974, when my wife and I went swimming in a pond fed by both glacial melt and hot springs (no waterfall, however) in the vicinity of Landmannalaugar. You could move around to find your personal favorite temperature. The hard part was getting out again, as the air temp was about 40 degrees (F) (about 4.4 C).

Thanks - I would agree, but as it happened there wasn't anyone in shot. Here's one I took a little later: for the first, I was standing at the top of the hill on the right.
