I saw this today at the B&H Photo page for the GFX-50R. Click the "build bundle" link on the right. The 63mm lens is $150 (not a typo) when bought with the 50R, and the zoom is $950.

If $4650 is street price with lens at launch, I can't imagine what it will be in a year.

I am watching prices on the used 50s very closely. Over the weekend one went on ebay for $3,800 (with the viewfinder)

The discounts appear to all be in place at least on B&H, however all of the orders are still preorders for the 50r.

It is possible Fuji merely wants enough preorders to justify a large first production run of bodies and lenses.
Those who are willing to preorder a camera at this price-point which has not yet made it out into the wild are, presumably, a small but telling indicator of how well the cameras is likely to do in, say, the first year.
A large sell through also builds buzz. Those willing to invest so early (or who are willing to be pushed over the edge by a strong discount) are some mix of innovators and early adopters. The camera and Fuji are known quantities and Fuji has demonstrated a strong commitment to solving problems and providing innovative upgrades through its generous firmware practices, so it isn't completely the bleeding edge, but it's still a big move.
So yes, maybe there will be bigger discounts, or maybe they are simply priming the pump and the rest will just follow the natural life cycle. I'm not sure the price has to drop on the 50r if the 50-pair just takes its place as the smaller, lower cost entry and the 100s becomes the flagship.
Time will tell.

About the "low" pricing. I don't think it's low. The body has larger material costs but otherwise similar manufacturing costs to a mid-range ILC. Fuji does the T3 at $1500 range, add $800 for the sensor, $200 for the larger shutter and added body metal and shipping, and $500 for small-production pro warranty service costs and you end up at $3K.That's what it should cost in my estimation. In fact, I think that at $2500 they would still make the same profit as on the T3, but then the people selling the T3 would get angry at the internal "competitor".
Anyway, they should sell at roughly $3K because they are competing with $3K ILCs. $3000 is presently the BH price for the A7R3. Miniaturisation is seen as a strong feature, so the smaller camera has an advantage too.

I think the Fuji R50 pricing is defined with only one aim: To kill Hassy after which Fuji will own this market segment. And I think this is wrong because two companies would definitely do better than one.

I have no idea. These lenses need to resolve to around 150MP if they aim to make the last another wash-dry cycle of the industry - 100MP with the 100S in 2019, 150MP probably by 2021.
The pricing of the 50R might also be a way to amortize and sell some lenses which could barely make it to 100MP, but certainly no further.

I would guess we won’t see 150MP till 22/23. I won’t minding it’s sooner. :)
