Dear all,
Quick Question:
When I print out the Optimization Traget, should I print with "No Color Management" or "with the profile that need to be optimized"?

No Color Management
The whole idea of the process is to characterize the native behaviour of the printer, unaided.

Yes, exactly like the former targetS.

I may have answered the wrong question; I responded to the question as if it pertained to the original profiling. But on review I see the question is about optimizing the profile.
So, Andrew, while my answer may be wrong, your answer is ambiguous, in the sense that Aaron asked an "either/or" question and you are answering "Yes" - but yes to what? - with no colour management or with the profile to be optimized?

I read that to mean with no color management like all other times The S is likely a typo. or for emphasis.

Yuck, why get bloody...... :-); OK, thanks for clarifying Andrew. So my answer turned out to be correct even though I was answering a misunderstood question. A foggy Friday morning ............

I rarely use optimisation. But today I built an icc @ 1440dpi printing resolution, but end up needed to print at 2880. The B&W print came up not neutral enough, instead of build a new one, I was thinking using the 2502 gary patches to optimise it see if it’s gonna help. The print came out perfect. So I can sure this function is working!
BTW, I was trying to find any document Tati in online regard to my question, as normal, NONE! Thanks to XRite

Optimization either does nothing visible or can help and of course depending on the target (I use a custom built target). I do optimization on all profiles. Optional for clients but recommend in doing so unless extra printing is prohibitive. Nothing to lose, potentially something to gain.
