Title: Panning

While wandering around taking random shots (I try not to do that so much anymore), I was playing around with panning. I captured a couple that I thought are kind of cool.

I like this one mainly because of the colors but I also think it shows movement quite nicely.

I liked this one because of the eye contact with my subject. He looks kind of shifty to me. Unfortunately, there was a light pole or something to the right that was a little distracting, so I cropped it out making the photo a bit too narrow.

Hi Gregg,

I Like your first image with pan...good and steady, textbook technique.

Here is my version of a pan that I did to try and capture a feeling...I wanted something to create a great sense of a slip slide motion. I moved the camera with the subject but slightly off axis to experiment with a variant  angle. I shot various riders as they came along and this was the one I found worked as I had hoped. "Time Messenger".
