I love the light, as always, but I particularly like the similar shape of the bokeh to the subject - it's so effective and really nicely done.

I noticed that too. The Spanish moss, mistletoe, and other types that like to droop from branches are parasites. They eventually damage the trees. I think maybe because they block the light and slow down photo synthesis--at least that's my guess.

I think your guess is right, Bob. In residential areas, when the moss becomes too thick people hire an outfit to come in and remove a bunch of it.

This moss, of course, is dead. Its color caught my eye in the midst of all the green in Florida's spring.
