Title: Hahnemuhle protective spray

Trying to understand which papers this is suitable for. Matte, luster, and gloss? Does it change the gloss characteristic of the paper? If I’m printing on a gloss or luster paper should I keep Chroma Optimiser turned on or turn it off? And I assume I should let the print off gas for 24 hours before spraying?

I used it and you do not see any changes.
One thing it does is cover the unprinted parts that remain that attract ink and contamination.
 It makes mat surfaces a bit less vulnerable for touching it.

I've sprayed mostly luster paper, but also canvas.  I've never noticed a difference in color or sheen characteristics.  I always print with Chroma Optimiser.  I normally wait 24 hours before spraying to let the prints dry.
