I feel it's more like a charcoal drawing...the scant marks give me that feeling.
I shot a series of trees at night on March 4 2008. I was testing my then new Panasonic G1. I bought it to save and continue to use my Contax G lenses. It took quite a bit of work to make the G lenses sing. Sadly I moved on. the adapters were a bear to work with.The trees are behind my studio.

Both, if printed large on high quality hot press paper, would look good in a museum setting. They have a painterly ''look." The second one hints at female anatomy.

Hi Dave,

I felt the noise works very much like my Charcoal drawings heightened with colored pastels...

Yes, good observation Dave. Noise does work with certain images and contributes to the overall feel. The image speaks for itself. It has a spectre quality to it that we can and do identify with.

How about nice piece of music to go with your "nocturne" and to keep you company when you paint.
