Title: Change Displayed User Name

Hello.

I would like to modify my displayed name (not my registered user name).

Within the Accounts Settings screen I modify the displayed name, enter my password and click Change Profile. A message regarding incorrect password is displayed.

I've retried many times and double-checked my forum password.

Please click on the help button on the home page and explain what is needed.  Someone will get back to you with a solution.

I have the same problem. I don't see a help button on the forum home page. Maybe I'm blind.  The Help menu option merely displays a list of Simple Machine topics with links to wiki pages (off site).

The help button is on the main site.  Switch over to the home page.  A year or so ago we were asked to remove the HELP button and did on the forum but based on questions these days we may put it back.
