Title: AutoCAD software
Post by: robertJe on December 06, 2017, 01:38:22 am
Hello,
I noticed that AutoCAD software does not work very well with my .DWG format file.
I have one file in which i have inserted various changes. Now i am getting the error message.
Error message: File hangs or crashes AutoCAD.
How can i remove the error or what should I do?

You may find better specific information on a dedicated AutoCAD forum, but when I used Autocad I found their knowledge base very useful.  For instance:

Try recovering by renaming the .bak file to .dwg then if it works purge the drawing. TBH it sounds like your original .dwg file has become corrupted though so it may be a do-over.
More detailed information you can refer to this article http://www.dwg.repair/
