Title: What have you been printing lately?
Post by: Ryan Mack on November 03, 2017, 07:08:14 pm
Thought it might be fun to share what we’ve been printing lately. Post photographs of prints hot off the press or framed and matted. My most recent prints are a series of Camargue horses my wife photographed and a set of my images from antelope canyon.

Great thread Mackman and excellent work!

Here is my largest to date print, mounted on a veneer Birch 1/4" plywood cut 24"x48" with a 1"x2" frame on the back recessed 2" from the edge to give it the floating no frame look when mounted on the wall. Just finished it today.

This is one of several collages I created for a client.  Terry Turcotte is a former gymnast and now coaches young athletes.  She's a member of a local photo club and does really wonderful work.  Her knowledge of the sport really shows in her timing and sense of the essence gymnastics.   I printed these on metallic paper (rare for me).  The Dmax of the SC P5000 really shines with these prints:

The top print is Moab Entrada Legacy. The bottom is Red River Palo Duro Soft Gloss. I love the palo duro and it comes in 17x25 sheets Im ordering this paper. iPhone shot of the prints so excuse the color quality and darkness.

I’ve finally had time to enjoy some printing - from last year’s Iceland trip...
