Title: Bee on a Lavender Plant in the gardens at Cantigny Park outside Chicago

Shot with the Nikon 70-300VR + Canon 500D close up lens combination that I mentioned in my reply to the "Out of my comfort zone" thread.
Cropped to about 35% from a D500 capture then scaled to this size.

Pretty good performance from the lens combo... the big challenge remains tracking the subject as it flies around and occasionally catching an interesting picture!
