Title: Are people shooting IIQL or IIQL16bit?

Noticing any real difference? I could only see the tiniest bit of improvement in deep shadow rendition, when I compared the 2.

I work on location from life, so need the faster shooting speed of regular IIQL mostly, but wondered if I'm missing something?

16 bit, just can't see paying all that money for Phase gear and then not capturing every photon it is capable of recording.  But I can see your point if you need slightly faster shooting speed.
