Title: Nikon D200 and file numbering
Post by: [email protected] on August 22, 2006, 10:53:42 am
I tried to find a way to make the D200 numbering the files in a continous way e.g. not starting with dsc0001 every time I format the card but without success. Anybody any idea?
Many thanks!!

Yes,
On The D200, in the Camera Menu, go to:
1) Custom Settings Menu
2) Go to menu setting "D" -shooting/display
3) then to subsetting D5 called File No. Sequence
4) set this to "On"

Now the D200 will start on file #1 and go upwards forever, without using the lower (and used) numbers again.

Best of luck.
